JOSÉ JANER GONZALEZ
José Janer has a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of the Balearic Isles, and he then took a Master’s degree in legal assessment for companies at the Higher Institute of Law and Economy (ISDE) in Barcelona, as well as a General Management Programme (PDG) of IESE in Madrid. He is bilingual in Spanish and Catalan and also speaks English and German.
After having exercised his profession in various law firms in Palma, he then became a member and Manager of the legal assessment department of the Iberostar Group for nine years until 2008.

José Janer has a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of the Balearic Isles, and he then took a Master’s degree in legal assessment for companies at the Higher Institute of Law and Economy (ISDE) in Barcelona, as well as a General Management Programme (PDG) of IESE in Madrid. He is bilingual in Spanish and Catalan and also speaks English and German.
After having exercised his profession in various law firms in Palma, he then became a member and Manager of the legal assessment department of the Iberostar Group for nine years until 2008.

FRANCESCA LLODRÀ GRIMALT
She has been a Professor of Civil Law at the University of the Balearic Islands since 2004.
She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Law at the University of the Balearic Isles (1991-1996).
She holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of the Balearic Isles (2000).
During her training she carried out research at the Centre of European Studies at the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom); at the Centre of European Private Law at the University of Muenster (Germany); at the Max-Planck Institute of Intellectual Property in Munich (Germany); at the Centre of European and Comparative Law at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom); and at the University of Bremen (Germany).
During her academic training she was awarded several research grants : Post-doctorate scholarship in the framework of the project “Research Network Uniform Terminology for European Private Law” at the University of Muenster, funded by the European Commission; “Forschungskurzstipendium für Ausländische Nachwuchswissenschaftler” scholarship from the DAAD “Deutcher Akademischer Austauschdienst” of the German government, and a scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Education for the Training of University Professors and Researchers.
She is the author of various academic publications and popularisation essays on multiple aspects of Civil Law.
